UX writing, technical writing and content design are my favorite categories of writing, and I’ve done this work for companies like Audible, Comcast, CVS Health, and NOKIA. I’m also trained and certified to incorporate AI and accessibility features as needed.

  • UX writers and content designers (interchangeable terms) craft the content that guides users through an interface, usually for consumers or business people using software applications. Yvonne Gando says that UX writing is at the intersection of words, empathy and strategy.
  • Technical writers write for technical audiences like engineers, software coders, system administrators, or hardware users. Their documentation covers complex, multi-step tasks.

What I Offer

Here are the deliverables and components I produce for web and app content:

I also do content strategy sessions, which I only quote on a per-project basis. Schedule a free consultation with me to discuss your needs.

How Content Design Can Help You

Trying to figure out how to navigate a website or app without words is impossible. Content design is part writing, part UX, and part accessibility. It helps you produce content based on real users’ needs.

Good UX and content design means making your website easy, intuitive, and pleasant for people to interact with. It directly impacts how visitors perceive your business and your brand, whether they stick around to learn more, and ultimately, whether they become customers.

When you book me to create any deliverable above, you get an experienced and certified professional writing who can:

  • Make your flows and processes easy for your audience to follow
  • Help you retain web visitors and potentially turn them into customers
  • Free your time so you can focus on what you do best

Pricing for UX and Content Design

As most projects are custom-quoted, I can only assess an accurate quote after we discuss your project.

Note: I don’t charge hourly rates for writing because it penalizes me for being experienced and efficient. A person who is less experienced will take more time to produce a deliverable than I would.
